Open source & lincenses

Honoring the global developer community.

The FEWOS platform, including our global connectivity services and mobile applications, is built upon a foundation of modern, collaborative technology. We are deeply grateful to the worldwide open-source community for the tools, libraries, and frameworks that make our platform possible.

Our Commitment to Open Source We believe that transparency, collaboration, and shared knowledge are essential to building secure and innovative digital telecommunication products. The open-source ecosystems we utilize are fundamental to delivering a seamless, high-performance experience to you, no matter where you are in the world.

Third-Party Software & Acknowledgements Portions of our platform—encompassing user interface components, data processing utilities, cryptography methods, and network communication layers—incorporate free and open-source software (FOSS).

These components are used in accordance with their respective licenses, which primarily include:

  • The MIT License (MIT)
  • The Apache License 2.0 (Apache-2.0)
  • The BSD 2-Clause and 3-Clause Licenses
  • The GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL)

A complete, machine-readable registry of the specific open-source libraries packaged within our mobile applications, along with their individual copyright notices and license texts, can be dynamically accessed directly from within the FEWOS mobile app settings.

Legal Disclaimer All third-party open-source software is provided "as is," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders of these third-party libraries be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the software.

"Free software is software that respects the user's freedom and community." FEWOS is committed to abiding by all necessary attribution requirements and strives to contribute back to the developer ecosystem through feedback, documentation, and the responsible use of shared code.
